Get in the FAST Lane, You Animal!

8 Feb

Food prepping can drive you crazy, but the lack of food could drive you to maneuver in unfamiliar territory, where you’ll make decisions based on fear instead of knowledge. A food shortage is ahead. The road signs are clear: farmlands and fruit orchards can’t handle the adverse weather; ranchers can’t afford to water livestock; factories are downsizing and closing; and gasoline is on the rise, again.

You may be prepared with a private food-store, but are you prepared to drastically limit the amount you eat?

The human body can become a monster when it’s really, really hungry, especially when it fears a lack of food. Going from two to three big meals with snacks in between per day to only one ladle of soup a day could drive a human body crazy. And crazy humans do crazy things, like fight over who’s going to get the last item on the shelf.

Can you eat one-third less than you normally do? Can you eat two-thirds less? If you have children, are they prepared for a drastic cut? Could you even fast?

When food supplies become short or shelves empty, or food is too expensive or rationed, we’ll HAVE to adjust. Look at prisoners; they’ve adjusted their diets. Active military personnel have adjusted theirs. And Homeless adapt to their environment. We’ve already learned to adjust our diets, accepting genetically modified foods, chemical additives, pink slime and horsemeat, while the elites who run food companies eat organic. Eating less of the stuff would just be another adjustment, right?

If you’ve never fasted, doing a water-only fast for three to seven days might give you an idea of what kind of fit your body WILL throw. The body will tell you that you are starving. Before you believe it, picture a starving child in Africa who really is starving. Most Americans have waxed fat. This is your reserve and your body will use it. Your body will get nauseated, because, as it has to break down the waxed fat for energy, it also has to detoxify the chemical toxins stored in the fat. These are the chemical toxins you ate in all the processed foods over the years. You will become light-headed as your blood pressure drops. You will become sore as strained muscles and joints show their wear and abuse. Your organs may inflame as they detoxify. You may experience interrupted sleep, coldness and irritability. Research other symptoms of fasting, as well as tips, if you decide to experiment. Also, determine if you have any medical conditions that would be a contra-indication of fasting.

If fasting is too hard, think about limiting your intake to a minimum. The average adult stomach is about the size of a fist, or your hands cupped together, with a volume of about one quart. It can expand to about four quarts, if one were to be a glutton. Limit the intake so that little expansion occurs.

Fasting or a significant reduction resets “your appetite mode”. The stomach doesn’t shrink, but you can mentally and physically readjust what your body thinks it needs or has to have. After only a few days, you can appreciate the subtle difference even a few calories of energy makes and learn to control your animal-body.

The prophets fasted for spiritual enlightenment. What was the significance of their fasts? First, they demonstrated to God that they could control their human-animal body and put their Spirit Being in control of it, where their Being made the decisions, not the animal mechanism. Being able to do this gained them favor in Father’s eyes. Each demonstrated his belief that he was a Soul locked inside a human-vehicle and his body was the cross he had to bear until he learned how to be (like Christ) to go Home again. This amount of demonstrated control and self- sacrifice helped to absolve their sins. It also strengthened their Spiritual Being’s will-power, enabling them to follow God’s guidance and hear more clearly His voice within.

Self-sacrifice replaced animal sacrifice. It doesn’t mean to sacrifice one’s actual human-life. Self-sacrifice is a daily action of overcoming SELF, which Jesus said everyone must do. SELF is tied to Satan’s commands, arrogance, selfishness, greediness, and the like.

Fasting is a form of self-sacrifice, because the body becomes the altar, and what happens to it during the fast is a sacrifice of human flesh. [Leviticus 3:9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the “I AM”; the fat thereof, [and] the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards]. Christ said we must be born of fire. Fasting burns body fat and it’s this fat that becomes the food offering to God. The rump of the body is burnt away as well as inner fat, so that backbone becomes visible and the lower back becomes indented where the kidneys lie.

Souls are in a body-vehicle and they either have their good (God) voice in the driver’s seat or their evil (devil) voice at the wheel. If you are having an internal struggle of what to do or what is right, get in the FAST lane. It’s a quicker route to Answers than all the detours Satan will place in your way.

Food of Life. – December 7 – Your Daily Lesson
I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

Those were My words to My Disciples in early days of My Ministry. Later I was to lead them on to a fuller understanding of that Majestic Union of a soul with God in which strength, Life and food pass from One to the other.

Meat is to sustain the body. To do the Will of God is the very strength and support of Life. Feed on that Food.

Soul-starvation comes from the failing to do, and to delight in doing, My Will. How busy the world is in talking of bodies that are undernourished! What of the souls (Beings) that are undernourished?

Make it indeed your meat to do My Will. Strength and Power will indeed come to you from that.
